The Chocolate Pumpkin Seed Skin Shake is one of the delicious healthy breakfast recipes from Dr Libby’s Real Food Chef Cookbook.
The avocado in the smoothie makes it a really filling breakfast or snack to keep you going throughout your morning.
- 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 fresh dates
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder (use cocoa if not available)
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla
- 1 cup fresh coconut milk
- 1 cup cold water
- Pinch of sea salt
Blend all ingredients together and pour into a tall glass. Sprinkle with raw cacao nibs.
